Description

The benefits and uses of clove oil date back to ancient China and India. As a cooking spice, Clove oil adds a spicy flavour to any dish or dessert. Clove oil is also widely used in dental preparations, candy, and gum, for its flavour and ability to cleanse the mouth. Additionally, the main chemical component in Clove oil, eugenol, gives it the ability to be very stimulating and energising when used as a warming massage oil.

Uses

  • Make a natural mouthwash by adding a drop of Clove oil in two ounces of water.
  • Instead of using dry clove, use Clove oil to taste when baking treats.
  • Add two drops of Clove oil to water for spicy flavour.
  • Diffuse three drops Clove oil, one drop Cinnamon Bark oil, and two drops Wild Orange oil for an invigorating scent.
  • Combine with doTERRA SPA Hand and Body Lotion for a warming massage.
